CRAFT TOGETHER Moons & Mushrooms Create a woodland wreath complete with whimsical mushrooms and florals. Registration begins Monday, March 11th. • Wednesday, March 20th @ 6pm Shadowbox Memories Bring along a special memento, recipe, or photo, and we will create a beautiful keepsake using a variety of scrapbooking materials and 8x8 shadowboxes. Registration opens on Monday, March 25th. • Wednesday, April 10th Weaving Hearts Special Guest Pat Mercer will join us to explore simple weaving techniques and make 2 cute hearts utilizing scrapbook papers. Fill with fun mini floral, perfect for Mother’s Day. Registration opens, Monday, April 22nd. • Wednesday, May 8th @ 6pm TECHNOLOGY TRAINING Microsoft Word New to using Word, or well acquainted, we will share simple features and explore expanded features like changing fonts, making hyperlinks, and more. • Tuesday, March 26th 10:30am or 1pm Microsoft Excel - Advanced Know the basics of creating formulas and entering data, but want to get a better grasp on how you can use and input functions? This class will cover graphs, conditional formatting, PivotTables, and more. • Tuesday, April 23rd 10:30am or 1pm Retro Gaming Feeling Nostalgic? Play classic games like Pac-Man and Galaxian. Use consoles such as the SNES and GameCube. Pink • April 16th - The Dress Diary by Kate Strasdin NotYour Mother’s Book Club Our evening fiction book club meets the last Wednesday @ 6pm each month. • March 27th - The Last Night in London by Karen White • April 24th - Do No Harm by Christina McDonald The Sky Was Always Underground with Jonathan Graham Wednesday, May 15th I scream red . . . for a secret passage to air: Willow Grove Mine cries out in a poem in the aftermath of a gaseous explosion that claimed the lives of 72 coal miners, devastating a community in Southeastern Ohio for decades. Book clubs will meet together on Wednesday, May 15th at 6pm for stories through poetry and prose with Ohio Native, Jonathan Graham. Graham’s verse harkens back to a time when hard-working Appalachians were left to reckon with the grief that followed the Willow Grove Mine disaster. In spite of hardships, they were able to celebrate life’s joys and forged a better life for themselves, their families, and their beloved land. This program is open to the public, all are welcome. Registration is requested, however not required.
