Stuffed Animal Sleepover Bring your stuffies to camp out with us at the library. Drop off your stuffed friend for an overnight adventure Thursday, July 11th by 6pm and pick them up Friday, July 12th. A keepsake photo with slide show will be available.  CHILDREN & TEEN PROGRAMS  Summer Story Time Adventures are abundant for summer story times! Families welcome. • Friday, June 14th @ 1:30pm • Friday, June 28th @ 10:30am • Friday, July 19th @ 10:30am Adventures with Sky Read and visit with Therapy Dog Sky this summer. She is a 3 1/2 year old Cavapoo with a variety of training and certifications. Morning appointments will be available 10am - 12pm. Registration is required. • June 25th & June 27 July 23rd & 25th Don’t Eat Bees Join us and our special guests from the STC Senior Center as we learn all about bees! Families welcome, space will be limited. • Friday, July 12th @ 10:30am Create a Critter Kindergarten through 6th grade students join us to create a critter. Choose, name and stuff a new friend. • Tuesday, June 18th @ 11am or 1pm Water Works! Pre K - 6th grade students join us at the Bike Trail for a fun program with BSWCD all about water. All students will receive a COSI Science Kit. • Tuesday, July 9th @ 11am or 1pm StoryWalk In collaboration with the city of St. Clairsville, our permanent StoryWalk is featuring an outdoor family reading experience along the National Road Bikeway. June - July: A Bear, A Bee and a Honey Tree by Daniel Bernstrom Build and Grow Kindergarten through 6th grade students will build mini constructions kits with us. Choose from a variety of fun projects! • Tuesday, June 11th @ 11am or 1pm Open House Touch a Truck @ Memorial Park Make plans for the whole family to kick off Summer Reading @ Memorial Park. The Cumberland Trail Fire District, STC Police Department, Lashley Tractor, St. Clair Building Supply and Kirke’s Ice Cream will be on hand. Face painting, bounce house and exploration awaits! In case of inclement weather the event will be at the library. Wednesday, June 5th @ 11am - 1pm Minecraft Builders Elementary and middle school students join us for challenges, races and more within your Minecraft world. Space will be limited. • Friday, June 21st @ 1pm Unless otherwise stated, registration begins on the 1st of each month, corresponding with the month of the program.  FAMILY PROGRAMS  Digging In & Finding Treasure Learn how to detect and find treasure in your own back yard! Join us as we demonstrate our new Nokta Simplex Lite Metal Detector! Our new metal detector will be available in our Library of Things Collection following our program, available for checkout by STC cardholders. • Friday, June 7th @ 2pm

 ADULT PROGRAMS   FAMILY PROGRAMS  Storybook Scavenger Hunt - Cranky by Phuc Tran Walk along Main Street and find hidden storybook characters! Families can pick up their clue pack and book, starting on June 10th-22nd. Find characters from the book in windows of local businesses then return the challenge card for a chance to win a prize. First 20 families to participate will receive a FREE copy. BOOK CLUBS New members always welcome! Ask staff for details. Big Questions Book Club Our non-fiction book club meets on the third Tuesday of the month. • June 18th @ 6pm Title: What an Owl Knows by Jennifer Ackerman • July 16th @ 6pm Exploring Ancient Architecture with David Macaulay Titles Not Your Mother’s Book Club Our book club will meet the last Wednesday of the month. • June 26th @ 1pm or 6pm Title: The People We Keep by Allison Larkin • July 31st @ 1pm or 6pm Title: The Brighter the Light by Mary Ellen Taylor SUMMER SPEAKER SERIES Join us for 3 feature presentations in June and July. June programs will be in collaboration with Belmont Heritage Museum highlighting the Civil War Era within Belmont County. Our July program will feature An Evening with Norman Rockwell and a special collection of famous advertising pieces and memorabilia. Build and paint a fun set of wooden firecrackers great for all your summer table décor! Registration opens Monday, June 3rd for adults and students accompanied by an adult 12+ • Wednesday, June 12th @ 4pm or 6pm Ready, Aim, Fire Ceramics Participants will learn all about the process of ceramics from the beginning molds to firing of the pieces in the kiln. You will glaze a flower frog, designed to make your floral displays pop and then choose a fun bird or mushroom to accent your summer décor. Registration opens Monday, July 1st • Wednesday, July 17th @ 6pm Chef Battle with The Cooking Caravan Families welcome to see the Caravan Chefs square off in a culinary competition that features audience members as sous chefs and judges. Our instant sous chefs must use their imagination and the ingredients on hand to create one delicious bite for the audience, who are also the judges! Registration begins Monday, July 1st. Thursday, July 18th @ 1:30pm VR Gaming Join us for a fantastic evening with our VR Headsets! Let your inner child out to explore VR Games. • Monday, June 24th @ 5pm-7pm
