108 W. Main Street St. Clairsville, OH 43950 g Director’s Corner g We are looking forward to another exciting year at St. Clairsville Public Library! A big goal for the library in 2024 is to revitalize the library's meeting room, make it larger, more comfortable, better equipped for a variety of programs and public uses, and turn it into the Jean and Paul Orr Community Center - with all costs being covered by a generous donation from their lifelong friend, James Lyons. Paul Orr, who passed in 2023, was an educator and enthusiastic patron of St. Clairsville Public Library. We're grateful for his example and for this permanent reminder that every library visit is an opportunity to learn, grow, and connect with others. We're looking forward to this project and to your library visits in the year ahead! -Doug Walsh, Library Director We had a fun and successful wreath event fundraiser hosted at Feisley’s again this holiday season. It was great having some new friends come and enjoy the evening with us! We greatly appreciate everyone’s support at our beautiful annual event. The Friends would love to have you join us in becoming a member in the new year. Membership and renewal forms can be picked up at the library, email friendsofstclibrary@gmail.com or visit our facebook page @ Friends of the St. Clairsville Library. We look forward to 2024 and helping the library serve our great community! g Friends of the Library g
