The Board of Trustees of the St. Clairsville Public Library invites interested individuals to apply for one of two open positions on the Board. One position has a remaining term of one year and the other has 4 years remaining in the term. The full description of the position is available here. The Board meets regularly on the third Monday of the month at 5:15 p.m. in the library Board Room. Trustees are also assigned to committees that meet on an as-needed basis. Trustees are expected to make a commitment to active participation and consistent attendance. All meetings are public meetings. Discussion and votes take place in person rather than through electronic communication.
The St. Clairsville Public Library is an independent school district library whose service area includes a population of approximately 16,500 in the St. Clairsville-Richland School District. Support of the library primarily comes from the state General Revenue Fund. The library has one facility at 108 W. Main St. in St. Clairsville, Ohio.
